Jump to conclusions,
Foolish I am,

Stoked the fire,
Of the humble resting being,
Feeling the burning sensation,
Etching deeper into the heart,

Dipped a toe into the ocean,
Tripped over my actions,
Heading head-first into oblivion,
Subtlety is not my speciality,

Laid it out plain and simple,
Aches abound, cure not found,
Dust blinds the eyes,
Smog smothers the lungs,

Highly unlikely will this succeed,
Seeds of resentment already planted,
Heart pounds quicker, senses tingle,
Is this what they call the inexplicable?
